Banking on the Big Screen: Movie Magic Meets Financial Empowerment

Arlo Washington is the president of People Trust Community Loan Fund and the first Black bank owner in the state of Arkansas. His Oscar-nominated documentary, “The Barber of Little Rock,” will be screened at this event.
There will also be a discussion on Washington’s pioneering journey from a small-town barber to a historical figure and economic change agent. Washington’s film showcases his mission to foster economic opportunity in underinvested communities.
